Methodology and excluded metrics
- Meta's latest reported quarter is Q3 2026.
- Users, ARPP, ad impressions and price per ad by region and revenue by user geography come from Meta's earnings releases and the charts in its 10-Q / 10-K; chart values were read from the chart images and cross-checked against the release text and other filings covering the same quarter.
- Revenue by user geography follows where the user is; the database group shows revenue by customer billing address from the financial-statement notes. They differ by design.
- Facebook DAUs, MAUs, ARPU and Family MAP were discontinued after Q4 2023; these legacy rows stop there.
- Leases not yet commenced, non-cancelable commitments and the data-center ventures (10-Q / 10-K notes) are amounts Meta has already signed for, ahead of the capex they turn into.
- All figures are as published by Meta; no ratios, totals or estimates are added. The only arithmetic is splitting reported totals into quarters: Q4 = full year − nine months (depreciation) and quarterly cash flow = year-to-date − previous year-to-date (shown in italics, with the formula).
- U.S. GAAP filings have no parent-only statements, so there is no consolidated − parent split.
- A metric is shown only when the three most recent quarters all have data; annual-only metrics need the two latest years. Rows from the database and the sustainability report are checked against their own latest period.
