VanEck Solana ETF is a statutory trust and passive exchange-traded fund designed to track the spot price performance of the digital asset SOL, along with potential staking rewards, minus fund operating expenses. The trust does not actively manage assets or use leverage and derivatives to speculate or hedge price movements. It issues and redeems shares in blocks called Baskets to authorized participants in exchange for cash or SOL. Custody of the underlying SOL assets is handled by designated third-party custodians, while cash management and administrative services are provided by State Street Bank and Trust Company.
